How
does it work?
Green People Self Tan Lotion works without
any UV exposure. The active ingredient Dihydroxyacetone
or DHA for short is produced during breakdown of
simple sugars. When applied to your body, DHA reacts
with amino acids found in the outer layers of the
skin to form brown pigments known as melanoindin
that give the appearance of a suntan.
The
tanned appearance closely resembles a real tan in
both colour and depth. It can be used to maintain
an existing tan, or give a tanned appearance before
a holiday or any special occasion. Using DHA has
none of the risks associated with sun exposure.
Green
People Self Tan is a non-greasy lotion, formulated
with organic Aloe Vera and Rosehip oil to soothe
and nourish the skin. Delicately scented with Rose
Geranium, Sandalwood and Vetivert essential oils,
suitable for both men and women.
How
to apply
Apply to skin that has been exfoliated. Apply the
Self Tan Lotion evenly over the face and body and
watch the tan develop over the next 2 to 3 hours,
giving the skin a healthy glow.
It
is important to note that although the skin will
develop a tanned appearance, it will not offer the
same protection against UV light that a regular
suntan gives. If going into the sun, use a sun lotion
with a suitable Sun Protection Factor.

Parabens, Petrochemicals, Sodium Lauryl/Laureth
Sulphate, Ethyl Alcohol, PABA-Sunscreen, Urea, PEG's,
DEA, TEA, irritating emulsifiers, Synthetic Colours,
Perfume or any unnecessary synthetic additives common
in many of today's health and beauty products.
